Our seasonal concert of mainly Marian a cappella music from 11 - 21st centuries will include music by Philips, Praetorius, Monteverdi, Grieg and Harper with traditional and modern Advent carols. A musical space for reflection before the Christmas rush!

Wendell Park, Wendell Road, Hammersmith, W12 9SB

There will be a CB spot on the outdoor stage during the Wendell Park Fair, a local event promoted by the Wendell Park Community Association and the Church of St Saviour, Wendell Park. We will be singing from the folk and spiritual end of our repertoire with microphones - something new for us!

Priory Church, Little Dunmow, Essex CM6 3HX

Our third visit to this delightful church, the last remaining part of the once extensive Priory. A Typical CB mixed bag including several new compositions and well known and less familiar pieces, madrigals, spirituals and folk songs.

St  Nicholas Church, Chiswick Mall, Chiswick W4 2PH

A typical Chiswick Baroque miscellany in the lovely setting of St Nicholas’ church at the west end of Chiswick Mall. The programme will include much new repertoire and at least one premiere. The proceeds from this concert are being added to the Arthur Fund set up by our soprano Gillian following the sad loss of 1 year old Arthur early this year.

Chiswick Baroque, the St Peters Singers, Handbells, organ and soloists will all take part in the first performance of this most exciting Patronal Mass commissioned by Holy Innocents from composer and CB director Celia Harper for this 2010 Patronal Festival. Time to be advised.

By popular request, a second autumnal miscellany as the clocks go back. Spirituals, folk songs. madrigals, lullabies, music from old to brand new in this lovely setting.

CB will be carol singing around Hartswood Road, thru St Peter’s Square to Chiswick Mall with possible stops at the Cross Keys and singing at the table in the Haweli restaurant on the corner of King Street/Black Lion Lane
