CELIA HARPER SETTINGS OF W B YEATS POEMS

12 February 2011 saw Voices of Chiswick Baroque with Cathy Schofield (violin) premiering settings by Celia of 7 Yeats poems for solo voice and violin. Ros Keating, Shelley Smith and Oliver Hinton sang with Cathy Schofield from the bleak “He hears the cry of the sedge” to the wistful Cloths of Heaven” and the jovial “Fiddler of Dooney”. This was as part of a Composers Present concert. We are hoping to include these songs in a Chiswick Baroque concert soon,
